Can’t my iPhone already open ZIP files?

Yes. For an ordinary ZIP, try Apple’s Files app first. Zip Opener adds RAR and 7z extraction, support for password-protected ZIP and RAR archives, and ZIP creation with a password.

Can it open a ZIP without its password?

No. You need the correct password to open a password-protected archive. Ask the person who created or sent the file. Zip Opener does not recover or bypass passwords.

Is Zip Opener free?

The app is free to download. Some features require an in-app purchase or subscription. Check the app for current features, plans, and prices in your region.

What happens to my files?

Zip Opener does not collect your data. This website has no file-upload feature. Files you choose to share with another app or save to a cloud service are subject to that service’s policies. Read our privacy policy.
